Privacy & cookies
Short and specific: what we ask for, where it goes and what stays in your browser.
Who is responsible
VK Timber LLC, company code (EDRPOU) 41428187, 33 Yarmarkova Street, Kremenchuk, Poltava region, 39630, Ukraine. Questions about your data: vk-timber@ukr.net.
The inquiry form
The form asks for your name and email – without them we cannot reply. Company, phone, country, species, condition, volume and your message are optional and only help us quote accurately. We use these details for one purpose: to answer your inquiry. The inquiry reaches us by email; we may also copy it into our internal work chat. We do not sell your details, do not pass them to third parties for their own purposes and do not add you to any mailing list.
What stays in your browser
The site sets no cookies of its own. It uses local storage, which never leaves your device and is not sent to any server:
- vkt-consent
- your choice about the external map
- vkt-last-inquiry
- the time of your last submission – protects the form from repeated sending
- vkt-inquiry-intent
- the species you clicked “Ask about this” on, so the form opens already filled in – kept only until you close the tab
You can clear all of it at any time through your browser settings – the site will keep working.
External services
Two things load from other companies’ servers. The visit counter comes from Cloudflare – see “Visit statistics” below. The Google map on the Contacts page comes from Google, which may set its own cookies, so the map does not load until you allow it. Links to LinkedIn and to the FSC certificate registry are ordinary links – they load nothing until you click them.
Visit statistics
We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It is a small script from Cloudflare’s servers: it sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. It does not use your IP address or anything else to recognise you, so a visit cannot be linked to you, and you cannot be followed to other websites. We see only totals: how many visits and page views there were, which pages were opened, where visitors came from, which countries and devices they used, and how quickly the pages loaded.
Your rights
You can ask what data we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to vk-timber@ukr.net – we will reply within a reasonable time. If you are in the EU, you also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
