Our own sawmill and kiln chambers
VK Timber LLC was founded in 2017. Our main production facilities are located in the Kremenchuk district of the Poltava region, Ukraine.
VK Timber LLC produces hardwood lumber, both freshly sawn and kiln-dried. We work with ash, oak and hornbeam.
Our company supplies high-quality hardwood lumber to the domestic and foreign markets, mainly to the countries of the European Union.

Ash, oak and hornbeam from central Ukraine
Three hardwoods, all sourced within reach of the mill. Below is what each one is normally used for by our customers. Which of them is running at a given moment depends on the logs in the yard – ask what is available now
Ash
Fraxinus excelsior
Light, elastic and shock-resistant, with a pronounced open grain. Our main species – furniture frames, chairs, stair parts and solid panels
Oak
Quercus robur
Dense, hard and durable, with high resistance to wear and moisture. Used for flooring, doors, worktops and heavy furniture
Hornbeam
Carpinus betulus
One of the hardest European hardwoods, pale and even in colour. Chosen where abrasion resistance matters more than figure
From log yard to loaded truck
Four stages, all on one site in the Kremenchuk district. Nothing is subcontracted, so we answer for the result ourselves
Log intake and sawing
Logs arrive at our yard, are measured and sorted by species and diameter, then sawn on our own line
Sorting and grading
Boards are graded by thickness and quality, stacked with stickers and prepared for the chambers
Kiln drying
Drying runs under a schedule matched to species and thickness. Final moisture is verified with a meter, pack by pack
Packing and loading
Packs are strapped, labelled and loaded onto trucks with the documents your customs clearance needs
FSC® chain of custody
VK Timber LLC is FSC certified. The certificate covers our chain of custody, and anyone can check it in the certification body’s public register – the code is below.
